🛠️ Prerequisites

PixEdit Desktop is installed.

PixEdit Server is set up and available on the network.

You have a user account in PixEdit Server.

You have the address/URL of PixEdit Server (e.g.,
http://servername:portnumber/).
✅ Step-by-step: Enabling login and connecting to PixEdit Server

Start PixEdit Desktop
Open PixEdit as usual. -
Open Settings
Go to:
⚙️ Tools → Options -
Go to PixEdit Server settings
In the window that opens:
Navigate to PixEdit Server in the left-hand menu (it may also appear as "Server"). -
Enable use of PixEdit Server
Check "Use PixEdit Server".
In the Server address field, paste the server address (e.g.,net.tcp://servername:8080/PixEditWebService).
Click on "Test Connection" to check that they are communicating.
Click OK to save and close the settings.
🔐 5. The "Login" button should now appear...
When you reopen the program:

You should now see the "Login" button instead of the "Configure" button.

Click "Login", and a login window will appear where you can enter your username and password.

If the "Login" button does not appear immediately, you can try restarting PixEdit Desktop. The button should appear on startup.
💡 Tips:

If you do not see the "Login" button: Make sure PixEdit Server is actually available and the address is entered correctly.

The server must have licenses and be properly configured for user login and profile management.
